Rachel McElroy

Rachel serves her clients using individually tailored and innovative strategies to best achieve their goals. She is a skilled litigator and has represented plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal courts. She primarily focuses her practice on employment-related claims such as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in the workplace. As your guide through the legal process, Rachel ensures that you receive prompt attention and compassionate representation throughout the course of your legal matter.

Rachel is an active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Western Pennsylvania Employment Lawyers Association (WPELA), SHRM, and the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA). She serves as a member of the ACBA Judiciary Committee. She was the Past Chair of the ACBA Sole and Small Firm Practitioners Section and one of the first firms selected for the ACBA ALLY Initiative. She is on the NELA Amicus Advisory Council and has worked on various amicus briefs to assist the Third Circuit. She also serves as the secretary for WPELA. In 2021, 2022, and 2023. she was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Employment Law.

Rachel earned her J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. While in law school, Rachel served as Managing Editor for Journal of Law, Technology and the Internet and won a CALI Award for Excellence in Copyright Law. Rachel gained valuable experience while practicing at the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic Center representing clients in various criminal matters, and serving as a research assistant for Professor Michael Benza.
